Find out on your state board of pharmacy website — below you can get right to the search page for every state. If you can’t find it on your state’s site, it may not be a legitimate pharmacy.
How to search
Be sure you’re searching for a pharmacy. Many states let you search different types of businesses, such as beauticians, CPAs, and others.
Make sure you’re searching for a business, not an individual. Some sites let you search for an individual pharmacist as well. Be sure you choose the right one.
Find your state’s board of pharmacy website
Choose your state. You need to look up the pharmacy in the state where you live, not the state the pharmacy is in. A pharmacy must be licensed in your state in order to legally ship to you.
If you can’t find it on that site, it may not be a legitimate pharmacy licensed to serve patients in your state. IMPORTANT CAVEAT: Many state pharmacy board websites require the exact name of the pharmacy. If you enter it wrong, you may not be able to find the pharmacy even though it’s a licensed, legitimate business.
